Manager – Corporate Communications (Location: HQ, Kajang)

POSITION CRITERIA

Responsibilities:-

  • To develop and implement corporate communications strategy for both internal and external of MKH in accordance to the Company’s Core Values;
  • To plan annual corporate communications activities and budget plan;
  • To monitor news, events and trends that is relevant to MKH’s corporate activities;
  • To initiate and assist in preparation and finalization of write-ups which may include but not limited to press releases, corporate profile, annual report, press advertisements, press interviews, newsletters, responses to customers, speeches, web contents and fact sheets;
  • To maintain liaison and good rapport with members of the major press publications;
  • To assist on correspondence with Investment Bankers, Fund Managers and Investors to coordinate meetings, events and preparation of updated and accurate corporate information as necessary;
  • To evaluate and recommend a decision on forthcoming sponsorship requests.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Corporate Communications, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Advertising / Media, Law, Marketing or related studies.
  • Min 7 years of experience in a similar role with good knowledge in Property related issues.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • You are inquisitive, independent and a problem solver.
  • You enjoy engaging with governmental, industry bodies and NGO’s as well as maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
